Oprah the last two days

So Oprah and Dr OZ whom I love and so does everybody else have done two episodes on obesity in young adults/kids in America. It was crazy these kids were so large I appreciate that I was born when I was born and grew up with who I grew up with. I was born in 1988 when there was no BLOG, no CELL PHONE, and video games weren't in your house. On top of that I spent a lot of time with my grandmother, basically all day, and she was a stickler for 3 meals and a 8pm snack and I better go outside and play, "why you in here?" "Why don't you take the ball and go on out side" "Stay in the yard!" LOL I played a lot even though every morning when she dropped me off for school she said "no racing and running" I guess that applied to inside the building??? Regardless I grew up with a meat a starch and a vegetable...dont even try to have two starches. If we did by accident my grandpa would say "why we got two starches today?" he was so well trained. I played, I read aloud, said my prayers at all meals and at night, and we ate dinner together and they didnt treat me like I was a baby. The second I could see the dishes best believe I was drying them.

On to Oprah... Kids don't have that anymore...most kids my age don't have that. I just happened to grow up with people born in the 1920's and my own mother was born in 1950! ONe girl spoke about how the kids at school called her a hippo! I can't believe how you could say that seriously to another person. Thinking I get but physically letting that come out of you ignorant mouth is appalling. Ok everyone called me Giraffe in HS but I'm tall and thin it wasn't as offensive. Giraffe's can be cute ...hippos never are! All of the kids were crying and they all had similar stories. I understand someone is also going to be the heaviest but these kids were 11, 12 , 13 and obese already. One boy for breakfast ate 3 bowls of cereal every morning. I cant remember getting through 1 bowl without forcing the last couple of spoonfuls down. America needs an overhaul in this diet/exercise thing!

I haven't had a full glass of anything but water in 2 weeks and over the last year my ratio of water to other drinks has been 10:1. Its not that hard Broccoli is good, so is uncooked spinach, peas are alright. Baked chicken yum! I just want our society to get it together or we wont have one!

That is ALL
