OMG Room 209, 1st classes, and Codi and Chill

I had every intention of having a great year and trust me I still will. But I love it here in New Res or officially Brawley Hall. LOL at the name change still. Nobody cares the RA's gave me the key and let me have at it. I met my roommates who are quite cool because they are seniors so they tryna get the hell up outta here so we al on the same page. This is where it gets interesting. I knew on the other side was going to be my friend Kendra but the other two rooms ended up unoccupied by the day before classes started. So she hangs with about 10 girls and now almost all of them live here. WTF!!! None of them have a key, and I do not answer the door or I will be stopping as of today unless you tell me you are coming beforehand. I like them but not enough to have them living here. Some didnt have housing and others had apartments that went wrong and others have rooms but want to be with their BFF's. Hope this works out ok. Kendra and I had a lengthy talk about it so I hope our prayers work!!!

!st day of classes today. How my English teacher couldn't find the room. I found it, CAU told me and they aint tell you. Not surprised but Nettie no likey excuses. LOL at KK being in my 1st class and Mel in my 2nd. I'm going to be seeing a lot of them this year. Hope this stays drama free!!! I love my Mass Media Class. I knew I was picking the right major. B.A. here I come

Codi is my goldfish's name it's short for codicioso which means greedy...lol and my other fish is named Chill cuz he just a chill dude.

AND EFF THIS ATL WEATHER!!!

I finally know what to expect!

Last year I left for school without knowing what to expect. And I experienced slight to no homesickness and high levels of black people aggression syndrome (this is when a black person no longer wishes to claim other black folk because they always actin' a fool). This year , my sophomore year, will be different for many reasons:
1. I will not be surprised by the amount of people you bring to help you move in. Auntie'nem and her kids and the grandbaby do all not need to come. If need be you can sent them pictures.
2. I will not be surprised by the lack of clothes the freshman girls will wear. If you feel comfortable letting your butt cheek rest on any old seat then that's your prerogative.
3. I will not be surprised by the bookstore. It should be called the book room. It's so little and that would be the reason they run out of books every semester. I am prepared to stand in lines early so I can get my essentials and maybe a free coupon at the register( they go quick ya'll). I am also prepared to have to transfer money from my savings acct. to cover the cost of a book and a half.
4. I will not be surprised by the caf. (Enough said)
5. I will not be surprised by party flyers. I believe all of the promoters from last year already know I do not party during the school year, so I hope they told this year's new flyer handeroutters. Do not accost me, I may just rip it up in front of your face. I'm dangerous!!!
6. I will not be surprised by the non-student car riderbyers. You will not yell at me or I will act like I'm reaching for my .22 do no play with me. Nor will I be surprised by the unneeded lyrics of your music. I've heard it all before. We all have volume controls in our car just because we don't use them like that doesn't mean we can't.

I know what to expect...I think!

I LOVE YOU DWADE!!!!!!!

I love Dwyane Wade!!! I love Basketball!!! SO lets backup and get a brief history of Dwade aka Flash. He went to school at Marquette and led his team and got drafted in the 2003 draft with LeBron and Melo. He ended up in Miami. He was Finals MVP in 2006 when the Heat won 4 straight games against the Dirk led Mavericks. (they were down 0-2 at first). He was amazing during those finals. He possesses ball handling skills that are unmatched and the ability and strength to drive the lane and finish at the rim at will. Oh and Big Diesel or Shaq didn't hurt either. Then came 2007 and 2008. He was injured. A shoulder injury and then a knee injury. I felt for him but I was mad that he wasn't taking the time to let himself heal. He eventually got the message in the end of 2008 and set his sights on USA Basketball. He got himself into shape and got back his confidence and is now the leader scorer on that team, even though he doesn't start. I would like to acknowledge his relentless steals and windmill dunks. I see you boy!!! Anyway don't disappoint me in October, I never lost faith in you!!! LOL

The Real story of the Church Hill Tire Slashers!!!

After some investigating and good ol neighborhood gossiping, I have unearthed the true story of the tire slashers. It was two little boys age 9 and 12 I believe. They may or may not live in a crack house on the street behind me, but that would make sense right? Well this is not the first time they have been causing trouble in the area. One of the neighbors said she had seen the younger boy walking across the street and he proceeded to pull his pants down and say "you can kiss this!" Such gall for a 3rd grader! what in the world is going on with these kids. The only trouble I was causing at nine was with my then 3 yr old cousin and we would hide around the house and scare our grandma, or maybe play with some barbies in the sink or something, but this is not the end of the story. Another day they came behind my neighbors mothers house (directly across from me) and they threw rocks at her house and like any black woman she came out and yelled at them. They called her a bitch and ran down the alley. (this is the best part) She got in the car and met him at the end of the alley and said "who's the bitch now!!!" They slashed tires in the middle of the day and then have the balls to say "how you doin ma'am" to the person whose car it was. I'll be damned. I don't hope those kids are in lockup somewhere but it just makes me wonder what happened to all the summer camps???

Whats Really Hood 37th Street!!!

So as of last night and in broad daylight today someone is going around my neighborhood slashing tires. At first it was just Escalades and the nicer stuff so I felt kind of safe with my 97 Ford which hasn't had a wash in atleast a year. So far I haven't been targeted but my neighbor directly across the street has. I've been bored or jealous before but I never had the audacity to destroy someone else's property because of it. People are so bold these days. I have every right to park my car in front of my house. Please DO NOT TOUCH!!!

Summer Recap...for all my loyal readers

I had every intention on returning 2 the life I left back in January but when I came home I wasn't that person anymore. I was focused on getting a job and I got one a bullshit ass Wella Manufacturing...yes a warehouse. My ol high yella ass was in there with the field niggas. They hated me at first but they soon realized I was from the hood too! Shoutout to CJ sorry u got fired dude u were quite cool and i hope u finally bought your recliner lol, to LiLi i hope u got that new job, Alex you are the most responsible 25 yr old i know, Von please stop drinking you are cooler sober, and to all of the boys with girlfriends who asked for my phone number...please know that having a wad of 20's does not mean you have money because that was probably your rent money anyway and it shows that you have no bank account or else you wouldnt have to carry it in your pocket. No lil boy even if you are twenty five will take me to mcdonalds for any reason...I own my own car and can take myself whenever i want to go...oh and if you do not own a car do not talk to me. I am not saying u need something with tinted windows or suicide doors but something that runs so big mama doesnt have to drop you off in the minivan everyday would be nice!!! Oh and smoking a NO...and my god if all u can afford is blacks or the individual cigarrettes from the store, you should not be smoking.

I will say I have learned that swag is something that will attack me easily and pull me in to its grips. The boys which I call regulars have somehow gotten under my skin. A cute accent (ques Tyra's Country Boy), a white tee, and a high school diploma is good enough. Please tell me about your quarterbacking heroics again. Thank you regular boys You will always have a place in my heart and so will your gorgeous arm muscles as you moved pallet jacks and broke down boxes (swoon) LMAO!!!

To the one boy havent spoken to all summer because you went off to college and changed and obviously forgot about all the stuff you had been saying for the past forever...in the words of Ashanti "you're gonna miss this chick right here, you're gonna miss this chick I swear!" Annette is officially moved on and will be looking up I can do much better and so can you with your current situation.

On to summer music...i have been jammin! Ashanti your CD surprised the hell outta me. You filled my Beyonce void! Oh and I have that good good but don't tell anybody :). Lloyd and Usher thank you for the lovely slow jams. Plies please stop!!! Neyo thank you! and Jeezy I wil call you Jeezy Hamilton because Put On is the ish right now!!!

This year I vow to be more open...I want to be the girl thats looks like shes having the time of her life because I should be that girl...And I promise to my college brothers I will be nicer to you because I don't wanna hafta go to white men.

On my way to Summa Cum Laude,
Annette Vivienne :)
thanks Angelina Jolie for naming yo baby after me!!!
