YEP!

So this is a picture of my hair about 3 weeks ago! You can visibly see my natural growth but I have since colored my hair in the front so it might blend better and I can keep up appearances that my hair grows outta my head that color. I have 2 and 1/4 inches of natural hair and 10+ inches of relaxed hair. This ratio is terrible lol. I'vebeen watching the hair growth vids on YouTube where ppl post pics of their hair growth journey's . I need to see someone go from hair as long as mine to even longer...I'm starting to think this is more difficult to do but I know that hair growth has nothing to do with how long your hair is already. I'm probably just being impatient HHHMMMPPPP!!!! OMG my bed is SOOOO messy in the back ooops!!! But I just need to focus on keeping my ends for now. I have stopped drinking everything but water and skin looks great! I hope my hair will too ya know once it grows in. But I've been slacking hard as heck here in VA eating icing and lasagna and foolishness all day I need to exercise because in 3 months it'll be spring break and I be damned if I can't wear a bikini without feeling weird or not being able to run or jump cuz my flab will move. I dont need that Im sooo young to be jiggling and ish!!!

Just blogged but I have more to say!!!

So the other day I was standing in the dining room and I was like ma who's that lady in that picture. Well her name was Indiana Estelle and she is my Grandmother's Grandmother! So after a lot of confusion she went and pulled out this stack of yellow legal pads with the family history on it SMHing!!! The farthest back we can go (as of now) is Indiana's mama Pinky (real name , govt, official name was Pinky!) she was Mataponi Indian and someother stuff. She was very light and had 3 husbands all of which she bought outta slavery!!! She was never a slave because she wasn't black, she was a midwife to lil white babies! So when her kid (Indiana) decides to go marry a black guy her mama tells her (I think you can do better, as in lighter) she doesn't and that's pretty much where our blackness starts (smh i know!!!)

Well in other research their was a woman named Sanada who was my grandma's aunt or something. Well when she was younger they were not allowed to speak to her downtown because she was passing. On one of the papers it said her mother was a prostitute and her father was from the white family of the Richmond News Leader Bryan Family. You talking prominent white folk thats as good as you get!!! I need to go downtown to the library of VA and look this all up...I'm not surprised though. Hooker+Rich White Man in 1890's Richmond= Passing family members and secrets for years. Now I find this out when everybody who knew her is dead! I will find out!!!

That C is a blessing though It was a big ol F at midterm!!!!!! See kids going to class cada dia and doing the lil stupid extra credit does help! Whew!

Im trying to stop obsessing over my hair but I cant...I have been obsesses since High School at that's a good 5 years of absolute insanity. If I hadn't mentioned before I am going natural and transitioning!!! I have not had a relaxer since the last week of August 2008 and that means 4 months so far and I have 2 inches of new growth. Im very pleased that with the average of 1/2 a month i have achieved 2 inches even with the stress and late nights and craziness that went on this school year. I'm glad I have found Mango Butter *thanks Lauren* because i have basically no breakage anymore if I make sure to use it daily. When I fall off...so do my ends. I have a few bra strap length pieces of hair LOL a few! and the rest is about 3 inches away. While at home I have rollerset my hair myself...ugh not so good. The relaxed hair came out great but I didnt pull the natural hair enough and it came out puffy. So next time I know what to do. I saw this tip on YouTube and it works: When rollersetting roll your hair upwards...its much easier to do your self. Yes the spray bottle is my BFF.

My mom is sitting here probably wondering what the heck i'm doing. She can't know about this blog or she would know everything and also the fact that their are no words that I will not say.

• OK Spanish teacher we dont know one way or the other your family situation. So you don;t have to say my wife argh uh ummm ex-wife or that nonsense when referring to her. We dont know or care we just tryna pass. ANd today you call and say your wife is in labor. What wife the ex or a new one see now you got us curious. And who was that 17 year old boy you bought to class. Your kid, wife's kid, ex wifes kid, Im so confused so let's just get back to Espanol. THANKS!
• Boys you wonder and wonder why I dont have a boyfriend but then you realize I have no time for you. Hmmm you think you would put two and two together and figure out that I am a young hustla LOL and that if you just give me some space to get all my ish together I'll get around to you....I Promise. Jesus, School, Work, My Mama and Friends, then You. Lo Siento but your close to the bottom it's not personal really!
• Roomates ARGH! So you went home and got you a big ass grill hot plate thingy and you gonna leave it all greasy and ish on top of the STOVE!!! COME ON NOOOOOO!!!! Keep that n your room!!! ANd thanks for not turning off the heat last night because it was actually cold and y'all couldn't deny it could you *stank mama face* *rolls neck walks away*
• 8 days left at CAU this semester. THANK JESUS!!! No really if it wasn't for Jesus I wouldda been lost it killed everybody (no joke) I've been real pissed this year but I keep tryna think about the future and how pointless it's gonna look later. 2.5 years left...wow that's it im sooo excited. I cant wait to leave tho! College aint for everybody...I already knew I could live on my own, have a job, go to school, not get pregnant, or be on drugs, and all that jazz a long time ago. But whatevs its cool Countdown MAY 2011 !!!!!!!!!
